LINKS COVID UPDATE – MASK WEARING EXTENDED 22nd July
Posted on: 22 July
Afternoon all
Well, this was not quite the outcome we had all been hoping for with the announcement of QLD Health’s ongoing COVID directives today. There has been an extension in the wearing of masks indoors (please make sure you are wearing them – it is your responsibility). We had a visit from QLD Police last week checking that all was in order and pleasingly Links got a tick!
The other item of note is the new directive – customers collecting takeaway will now be required to use the Check In QLD app.
The current policy or flagsticks, rakes and NTPs will continue whilst the mask rule is in place.
Mask wearing and restrictions
Masks are still required to be worn for a further 7 days until 6am on Friday, July 30 across South East Queensland, including the Gold Coast. Mask wearing will now be required to be worn in all indoor seated, ticketed venues. This includes all stadiums, theatres and cinemas.
From 6am Friday, 23 July some restrictions will ease, this includes:
- Indoor venues: 1 person per 4 square metres, or 100% capacity with ticketed and allocated seating.
- Smaller venues up to 200 square metres: 1 person per 2 square metres, up to a maximum of 50 people.
- Outdoor venues: 1 person per 2 square metres.
- Hospitality venues: open for seated dining and drinking only. No dancing (except if part of a wedding). Customers collecting takeaway must now use the Check In Qld app.
- Self-service food: No restrictions.
Thank you for your continued support…
