SENIOR PENNANT UPDATE

The last round of the Senior Pennants was played against Coolangatta/Tweed at Sanctuary Palms. A win would have put us straight in the Division 1 Final. Unfortunately, on a wet and windy day, the team fell short with a 4 to 2 loss. Great wins to Dave McGrath and Mark Quinn. Mick Kennedy went down on the last hole, Shippo lost 3 n 2 and Roger and Alan at 1 and 2 had a tough day against very good opposition. On behalf of the team, I would like to thank Matt Williams for managing the team, organizing carts and practice rounds throughout the season and we would also like to thank Links Hope Island for their continued support of the club pennant teams. Next year hopefully we can get the job done.
