The Open Pennant team played their first round on Sunday. Playing against RACV Pines at RACV Pines was always going to be a tough day. Home course advantage always plays a big part, but the boys gave it everything. While going down 6 games to 1 there were some significant highlights. Our youngest player Yutaro lost 1 down, Alex who is playing great golf went down 2 n 1. Sam was up most of the day. All these matches could have gone our way. Our number one Mark Burrell proved, once again, what a great golfer he is, winning 2 up against the best they could throw at him. All our future matches are on neutral courses so we are still in the hunt. Next Sunday we play at Sanctuary Cove against Coolangatta. 7:50 am start, supporters are very welcome.
