Hole 3 UPDATE

Posted on: 10 February

With progress ahead of schedule the next few days will be the last opportunity for members to play the current 3rd hole. From Monday 13th February the current layout will be re-configured to include hole 12A as the next stage of construction commences.

Some things for you to be aware of:
The next phase of construction, including the removal of the current tees and excavation of a new bunker, will see the temporary closure of the cart path on hole 3. Therefore, after completing play on hole 2 all players, whether riding in golf carts or walking, will be re-directed to hole 4 via the cart path connecting holes 7 and 8. This means the cart path between the tee on hole 7 and the tee on hole 8 will become a shared two-way path. We urge all players to proceed with an abundance of caution when travelling in either direction, and also beware of golf balls hit from the 7th tee or into the 7th green. Please obey signage.

Tee sheet adjustments –
Tee sheets for two tee starts on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday will be adjusted to accommodate the temporary re-configuration of the golf course. With only 8 holes in play on the front nine and 10 holes on the back the changes are aimed at overcoming the imbalance of holes on each nine and ensuring pace of play is not adversely affected. The overall number of available tee times remains the same.

Updates to MiClub scorecards –
For scoring purposes the front nine will include holes 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 &10. The back nine will include holes 11, 12, 12A, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 & 18. Hole indexes have temporarily been adjusted to include hole 12A as index 18. The current index 18 holes (8th for men and 5th for ladies) reduce by 1 as do all other hole indexes until arriving at the hole rated more difficult than the current 3rd hole (14th for men/12th for ladies). There is a link beneath the photo below to view the new temporary scorecards.
