IMPORTANT – TIMBER FLOOR REFURBISHMENT

Prior to the arrival of new furniture in early 2024, all wooden floors will be sanded, treated, and polished prior to Christmas.
This will be a two-day process and we will require your cooperation to complete the work correctly to ensure the wooden floors in the Clubhouse are restored to their very best. On Wednesday, 20th December and Thursday, 21st December, specific areas of the flooring will be sectioned-off and strictly off-limits. The purpose of this is to ensure that the treatment process is carried out safely and effectively.
On Wednesday, dark timber floors will be off-limits, and entry to the venue will be through the rear of the Clubhouse only.
On Thursday, light timber floors will be off-limits, and entry will be through the front of the Clubhouse.
Please adhere to all signage and directions given by staff.
It is important to note that during the treatment process, no staff, members, or guests will be allowed in the restricted areas. However, we will continue to operate in the carpeted areas of the clubhouse, and if you have any questions about where you can and cannot walk, please don’t hesitate to speak with one of our friendly staff so we may best direct you.
In addition, we have made arrangements to ensure your experience during this period is as comfortable as possible.
On Wednesday, additional seating will be available in Thomson 1 and Ballroom 2 and seating on the Terraces will remain as normal. Furthermore, Portaloo’s will be provided due to the locker room and ballroom amenities both being inaccessible on the Wednesday.
On Thursday additional seating will be available in Lugano Lounge and seating on the Terraces will again remain as normal. The Function Bar will be the primary trading area on Thursday.
On both days, although limited, we will have food options available.
Please pay close attention to the signage on each day and adhere to any directions given by staff.
