Clubhouse Air Conditioning

We are excited to announce that the Clubhouse air conditioning will be replaced with a brand-new system, work commences next Monday 10th June and will take approximately 12 weeks.  Important dates are shown below so you know what to expect:  

 

STAGE 1

Monday, 10th June to Friday, 28th June

The GOLF SHOP will be temporarily relocated to Thomson Room #2 from Monday 17th to Friday 28th June. Access to the temporary Golf Shop will be via Ambrosia Terrace.

During this period there will be no air conditioning back of house in Golf Services, Administration, and other Staff areas.

 

STAGE 2

Monday, 1st July to Friday, 12th July

LOUNGE and DINING AREAS including the Fountain Court, SOL Cafe and Lugano Lounge will be without air conditioning but there will be no interruption to regular trade.  Both Thomson Room’s, the Locker Rooms and Golden Horse offices will also be without air conditioning.

IMPORTANT: The Porte Cochere and entry through the front of clubhouse will be closed on Wednesday 3rd July due to the access required by a crane to lift the new chiller units and other hardware onto the roof.  Members and guests will need to enter the clubhouse via the entry in the underground car park. Signage will be in place to assist in making entry as seamless as possible.

 

STAGE 3

Monday, 12th July to Friday, 30th August

The entire clubhouse will be without air conditioning during this period.
