Links is going Cashless

We wish to inform Members that Links Golf & Wellbeing will become a primarily cashless business from Wednesday November 1st, 2023.  This change in policy is part of our ongoing efforts to maintain the financial stability of our property and ensure that we can continue to provide high-quality services and amenities to all members. We understand that this change may come as a disappointment to some, and we want to assure you that it was not made lightly.  We greatly value your membership and want to make this transition as smooth as possible for you.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding this change, please do not hesitate to reach out to Management.

We have carefully considered the potential impact on our Members who pay cash regularly and will continue to allow Members to deposit cash to top-up Member Accounts at Reception during business hours* and at SOL Café or the Golf Shop outside of business hours.  No application is required to top-up a Member Account with cash.

Please be aware of the following changes to Payment Methods, effective Wednesday 1st November 2023:

  • There will be no cash floats at POS in the Golf Shop, Sol Café, Function Bar or Drink Cart.
  • Cash payments will no longer be accepted at Links Golf & Wellbeing POS.
  • Cheque payments will also no longer be accepted at Links Golf & Wellbeing.

Topping Up Member Accounts:

  • Cash deposits to top-up Member Accounts will still be accepted.  The minimum amount is $200 and the maximum $1000.  
  • To top-up a Member Account, Members can visit Reception during business hours (*Monday – Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm).  Outside of business hours, SOL Café and the Golf Shop will accept cash deposits to top-up Member Accounts.  It’s important to note that no change will be given.
  • Card deposits to top-up a Member Account will continue to be accepted at Reception during business hours* and at SOL Café and the Golf Shop during trading hours.

When Else Will Cash Be Accepted

Cash payments will also still be accepted at Reception for Membership, Events and House Account Deposits. However, we will not be able to provide change for cash payments made at Reception. Therefore, members are reminded to bring exact amounts for the payment or deposit.
