As you are all well aware, Links Golf & Wellbeing purchased a club subscription for the MiScore App back in December 2023, allowing all Links Golf Members to download the MiScore App free of charge. Since then, we have transitioned all member competitions to in app scoring and now we are pleased to announce Links will be replacing the paper Nearest to Pin (NTP) with the MiScore NearPin function from Tuesday, 3rd September.

Users can view the “Nearest to the Pin” player in the app from anywhere and enter their own or their playing partners’ scores. Measuring tapes will be installed on the flag sticks so that accurate distance can be measured and recorded on MiScore. One person from the group must be using the Miscore app in order to add self or player onto the NTP screen.

The distance is measured from the edge of the cup to the edge of the ball closest to the hole. For clarification, this is to be recorded in CM not metres.
