2021 Ladies & Mens Foursomes Results

On Saturday 40 pairs competed in the 2021 Ladies and Mens Foursomes with some very tight results in testing conditions.
Only two strokes separated the winners and runners up in both gross and nett for our Ladies with Liya C & Liz W our Champions over Jane M & Louise D.
Nett winners Vee Q & Shirley H narrowly defeated Jane & Louise also by 2.
The mens event came down to a sudden death playoff and the 2019 Champs Roger W & AlexW were able to keep their heads against the rising talent of brothers Phil & Dujuan S who challenged hard.
The unrelenting Chris P & Russell D held out with a countback for the nett over Nigel Hulm and Dennis Gyde.

Nett winner: Russell Donald & Chris Potter – RD1 = 75.5 RD2 = 70.5 Total = 146 (CB)
Nett runner up: Nigel Hulm & Dennis Gyde – RD1 =68 RD2 = 78 Total = 146
Gross Winner: Roger Worms & Alex Whiteley – RD1 = 82 RD2 = 74 Total = 156 (Playoff(1 hole))
Gross runner up: Phil Snyman & Dujuan Snyman – RD1 = 79 RD2 = 79 Total = 156
