Whilst we appreciate that this is not a popular decision, it is for the benefit of playing conditions.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">To assist with the preparation and presentation of the golf course particularly during the months where growth is reduced, the Club will again operate with a maximum of 2 carts per group.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This policy will be active for the period 1st June &#8211; 31st August. *Medical Exemptions do not apply.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Tips on how to share a golf cart and keep pace!<\/h2>\n<p class=\"ex_br1\"><strong>T<\/strong><b>he no. 1 reason for player-induced slow play is inefficient golf cart management<\/b>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"ex_br1\">The relationship you have with your golf cart mate should resemble a game of leap frog &#8212; not a three-legged sack race.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ex_br1\">Drop your partner off at their ball and go to yours (and when they hit they can walk back to the cart). If being dropped off, always take a few different clubs to your ball. If you and your cart mate&#8217;s balls are relatively close to each other, park in between them and you can get ready to hit at the same time.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ex_br1\">Bring putters or other wedges to the green for one another if necessary.<\/li>\n<li class=\"ex_br1\">Use the time you spend getting to your ball to think about the next shot &#8211; the yardage, the club selection. When you reach your ball you&#8217;ll need less time to figure out the shot.<\/li>\n<li>Never delay making a stroke because you&#8217;re having a conversation with a playing partner. Put the conversation on hold, make your stroke, then pick up the conversation again.<\/li>\n<li>When leaving the green and returning to your <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thoughtco.com\/golf-cart-rules-and-etiquette-1563907\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-ordinal=\"3\">golf cart<\/a>, don&#8217;t stand there fussing with your putter or other clubs. Get in the cart, drive to the next tee, and then put away your putter.<\/li>\n<li>Likewise, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thoughtco.com\/how-to-mark-a-golf-scorecard-1562687\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-ordinal=\"4\">mark your scorecard<\/a> after reaching the next tee, not while lingering on or near the just-completed green.<\/li>\n<li>When using a cart, never park the cart in front of the green. Park it only to the side or behind the green. And don&#8217;t mark your scorecard while sitting in the cart next to the green (do it at the next tee). These practices open up the green for the group behind.<\/li>\n<li>When waiting on the tee for the group in front to clear the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thoughtco.com\/fairway-golf-definition-1560842\" data-type=\"internalLink\" data-component=\"link\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-ordinal=\"7\">fairway<\/a>, don&#8217;t be so strict about order of play.
