{"id":8670,"date":"2022-02-08T06:30:00","date_gmt":"2022-02-07T20:30:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.linkshopeisland.com.au\/cms\/?p=8670"},"modified":"2023-06-20T06:48:32","modified_gmt":"2023-06-20T06:48:32","slug":"qld-health-covid-update-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/linkshopeisland.miclub.com.au\/cms\/2022\/02\/qld-health-covid-update-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Public Health Direction"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>8 February 2022<br><br>Dear Links Hope Island Members,<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Re: Queensland Government Public Health Direction from 08\/02\/22<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In Line with the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.golf.org.au\/directives\/\"> Golf Australia (GA) review<\/a> of the Queensland Public Health Directive we can confirm the following:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Golf Operations<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unvaccinated people can play golf, including associated activities. i.e. Practice facilities<\/li>\n<li>Unvaccinated people can play golf in the same group as vaccinated people<\/li>\n<li>Unvaccinated people can share a golf cart with a vaccinated golfer<\/li>\n<li>Unvaccinated people can use the \u201cdrinks cart\u201d service<\/li>\n<li>Unvaccinated people can enter and use the Golf Shop services<\/li>\n<li>Unvaccinated people can purchase takeaway food and drink to consume on the golf course and practice facilities (Use of areas around the Clubhouse do not constitute takeaway)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Coaching<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unvaccinated people can coach and be coached<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Clubhouse<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Vaccinated patrons can use all hospitality and other services of this facility<\/li>\n<li>Unvaccinated patrons may enter the Clubhouse to collect takeaway food and beverage<\/li>\n<li>Unvaccinated patrons can use the Hair Beauty Day Spa, Yoga and Meditation space<\/li>\n<li>Unvaccinated patrons may enter the Clubhouse to use the toilets or locker rooms<\/li>\n<li>All patrons must wear a mask inside the Clubhouse unless seated<\/li>\n<li>All patrons must register their attendance at all venues that require vaccination prior to entry<\/li>\n<li>All patrons wishing to enter and remain at any dining area must display to staff proof of either:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Full vaccination<\/li>\n<li>A medical contraindication<\/li>\n<li>That they are under 16 years of age<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>We ask that you respect our staff as they have not made the rules, but rather duty bound to comply with them.
