Club Reopening Update - Tropical Cyclone Alfred

Following today's inspection of the club and golf course, we are pleased to announce that the clubhouse and Sol Café will reopen tomorrow, Tuesday 11th March, from 8am to 3pm. A limited breakfast and lunch menu will be available alongside coffee service. We will be open 8am to 3pm until Thursday, and anticipate resuming full trading hours by the end of the week.

Due to the extensive clean-up required, the golf course will remain closed in coming days but it is our intention to do everything we possibly can to be open for play on Saturday. We will provide further updates as soon as possible.

Additionally, Champions Hair Beauty Day Spa will reopen for appointments from 9am tomorrow, Tuesday 11th March.

We appreciate your patience and support as we recover from the effects of Tropical Cyclone Alfred. Your safety remains our top priority, and we look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Update from the Course

After 405mm of rain and winds of over 100km an hour the maintenance team will start the clean up operation tomorrow and will work during the remainder of the week. A team of professional arborists will be responsible for the removal and mulching of the largest trees, starting with the most dangerous trees first and the ones still suspended in the tree canopy over cart paths.

The golf course maintenance team will be running two crews armed with tractors, trailers and chainsaws removing all other fallen trees and debris on the course.

Greens and tees haven't been cut since Wednesday, as a priority these will be the first surfaces to be mowed. It will take several days however to get the height of cut down to the usual standard as they are currently long and waterlogged.

We are aiming to have the course open for play for the Saturday competition.

Members 36 Hole Foursomes Championship

The 36 hole Men's and Ladies Foursomes Championship planned to be played this Saturday 15^th March 2025 has been postponed due to Cyclone Alfred.

A new date will be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Links Autumn Classic

The Links Autumn Classic 2025 is open for registration, and as a Links Golf & Wellbeing member, secure your place at the special member rate of $349.

Running from Wednesday 30 April to Friday 2 May 2025, this three-day golf extraveganza features 54 holes of Single Stableford competition on our championship course, food, entertainment, and exciting prizes.

Ladies Easter Rosebowl

Easter celebrations commence early at Link Golf & Wellbeing this year with the Ladies Easter Rosebowl.

Enjoy a fun-filled day with plenty of laughter, great company, entertainment and of course, some fantastic golf. This year the Ladies Easter Rosebowl is a 2 Ball Ambrose Event with a random draw!

The Easter Rosebowl will take place on Wednesday 2 April 2025.
