Anzac Day Trading Hours

Links Golf & Wellbeing will be trading as normal on Anzac Day, Friday 25th April.

Alcohol Sales on Anzac Day

On Anzac Day, we can sell and supply liquor from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, but only with a meal, in a part of the premises ordinarily set aside for dining.  The meal must be prepared, served, and eaten on the premises. Patrons can purchase alcohol to drink with their meal from 1 hour before to 1 hour after eating their meal.

(Note: under the Act a meal is defined as food that can be eaten with cutlery while seated, it is not light takeaway food like sandwiches, snacks, hot chips, an entree, or children's meal.)

We are also unable to sell takeaway alcohol or alcohol from the refreshment cart and golf shop until after 1:00 pm on Anzac Day.

Normal trading resumes from 1:00 pm.

N.B. a 15% Surcharge applies to all Food & Beverage at Links, due to the Public Holiday on Anzac Day.

Temporary Parking Update During Construction

Due to the ongoing construction works and the resulting loss of some parking spaces, we have introduced additional temporary parking around the porte-cochere area.

We kindly ask that you park within the newly marked lines on the ground to help maintain safety and traffic flow during this period. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Congratulations to our Easter Basket Winner

A big round of applause to John Sutton, the lucky winner of the Links Golf & Wellbeing Easter Basket Giveaway!

John took home a beautiful basket full of Easter treats, gourmet goodies, and a few special surprises from the Links team.

We hope you enjoy every moment (and every chocolate egg)!

Thank you to everyone who entered the draw.

Blair

Meet the Team Behind Links

Meet Blair, one of our friendly and talented Food and Beverage Bartenders here at Links Golf & Wellbeing. Blair joined the team in July 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience from working in bars and a keen interest in health and fitness. The chance to combine his hospitality skills with the unique golf course setting made this role too good to pass up.

A typical day for Blair kicks off with a gym session, followed by university studies—he’s currently pursuing a Bachelor in IT, majoring in software development—or a shift behind the bar. Outside of work, he’s an avid rugby league player and always up for something active.

Blair’s favourite part of his job is the bond with his teammates, who have become like close friends. A standout moment for him so far? Creating his own cocktail and seeing it featured on the menu—he recommends trying The Fresh Prince if you haven’t already!

Inspired by the success of others and passionate about collaboration, Blair is always looking to grow, particularly in team dynamics and conflict management. His dream as a kid was to be a professional athlete, and with his drive and positive energy, he’s still chasing excellence every day. Oh, and fun fact—he’s the middle child, with strong bonds to both his older brother and younger sister.

Friendly Reminders:

Requirement To Check in Prior To Play

A big thank you to all members who take the time to do the right thing and check in with the golf shop team before heading out on course - we really appreciate it!

However, we've noticed some players still making their way straight to the tee without checking in. To ensure everyone has the best experience on the course, we kindly remind all members to stop by the golf shop first.

Checking in prior to play allows us to manage the tee effectively, inform you of any important updates, such as course conditions, special notices, or other helpful information for your round.

Thank you for your cooperation.

No BYO Alcohol on Course

Just a friendly reminder that, as per By-Law 17.2 (d), bringing your own alcohol onto the golf course is not permitted.  Glass bottles of any description are also not permitted on the golf course at any time.

Our Special Facility liquor license encompasses the clubhouse and entire golf course property.  As such any alcohol must be purchased through our facilities and served by staff who hold a valid RSA. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Use of Range Balls on Course

All players are advised that the removal of range balls / range baskets from the driving range is not permitted.

Range balls are provided to our membership base as part of your membership category to be used solely on the driving range / chipping green.

It has been bought to our attention that players are using the range balls on course, in particular from the 9th tee in both social and competition play to avoid losing your own golf ball.

Our range balls are limited flight and do not comply with the rules of golf and therefore anybody found to be using a range ball in competition play will be disqualified.

If members are caught removing range balls or using them on course, they will also face disciplinary action.

Thank you for your understanding.
